Summer Jean Monnet School “Financial aspects of the European integration for PhD students and young scientists” under the grant program of EU Erasmus+”

The first Summer Jean Monnet School "Financial aspects of the European integration for PhD students and young scientists" will be held on 1 June – 9 June 2015 at the Ukrainian Academy of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine (Sumy) and will be oriented on PhD students and young scientists who are interested in learning the theoretical basis and practical issues of integration processes of the EU financial environment.

The school will give the participants an opportunity to know more about the financial aspects of European integration from Ukrainian experts, completely learn main issues of economic relations between Ukraine and the EU on main directions.

The program of the Summer School includes:

  • lectures by leading professors in Banking, Finance et al.;
  • round tables;
  • practical seminars (business games, situational exercises, case methods);
  • individual projects of the participants;
  • cultural and educational activities, including excursions.

After finishing the course PhD students and young scientists will receive a certificate of the participant of the Summer Jean Monnet School.

Who is eligible for participation?

Students of all regions of Ukraine enrolled in the master’s degree program, PhD students and young scientists who graduated from university no more than 3 years ago. Participants who have scientific achievements (conferences, scientific publications) on the aspects of European financial integration and graduates with international training experience have an advantage.

Only 20 participants will be chosen. Admission will be based on the sent application with such criteria: a) educational level of student or PhD student; b) presentation of the biggest number of regions; c) experience in scientific work.
