Law

The legal profession is historically associated with the notion of justice. As in the medicine, the cost of failure in jurisprudence is very high. Lawyers often decide over the matters of life and destiny of people and, sometimes of an entire country. Contrary to the famous adage "to err is human", a lawyer has no right for mistake, because it can be too pricey for the people and society. Court decisions should be well considered, carefully thought-out, while the main prerequisite for making such decisions ought to be the quality of lawyers’ training.

An intelligent well-trained lawyer is a desirable employee, advisor and counselor in any field of professional activity.

Considering the deficit of qualified lawyers, the ever-increasing role of law and legal procedure, the prestige of legal profession is on the rise. Today the lawyers are called upon to defend the fundamental principles of the rule of law and justice in society, to protect the constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens, contributing to the formation of Ukraine as a democratic lawful state.

The legal profession is associated with the ability to influence events in a positive way. A lawyer can help unjustly treated people, protect the rights of crime victims, help unlawfully fired persons and protect the property or housing rights. A lawyer working as investigator or judge can provide just punishment for offenders. A prosecutor has the right to prosecute corrupt officials. The legal profession is also attractive because of its certain independence. Although lawyers are normally subordinate to their superiors, they all make decisions in accordance with the law, and the interpretation of the law involves a significant level of independence.

A lawyer derives an additional satisfaction from his work because of the opportunities to use his character and intelligence. He develops his own style and craftsmanship. An attractive feature of the legal profession is the possibility to use it in various spheres of life, economy, art, sports and journalism. The key to a successful legal career is a quality education. The legal education in the world is the most expensive and the most prestigious.
